The Zuluf Water Treatment Plant has achieved a significant milestone by completing One Million Safe Man Hours during its construction phase. This accomplishment underscores the commitment to safety and operational excellence demonstrated by Almar Water Solutions, its partners, and the plant’s client, Aramco. The ceremony marking this achievement was attended by representatives from Almar Water Solutions, Aramco, Al Jomaih Energy and Water Co. (AEW), and Fisia Italimpianti.
Located 240 km north of Dhahran, the Zuluf Water Treatment Plant is currently under construction and will have a water treatment daily capacity of 185,000 m³. The plant will play a critical role in providing water injection to the Zuluf Onshore Oil Facilities, a key component of Saudi Arabia’s oil production infrastructure in the Arabian Gulf.
The Zuluf project achieved financial close in March 2023 and is now in full construction, employing nearly 1,000 people. Almar Water Solutions is leading the project alongside a consortium of companies that includes Al Jomaih Energy and Water Co. (AEW) and Fisia Italimpianti, ensuring the successful execution and future operations and maintenance of the plant.
