Madrid, September 01, 2022.– The Public Entity for Wastewater Sanitation of the Valencian Community (EPSAR) has awarded the UTE GS Inima Environment/ Ciclagua, constituted by GS Inima (50%) and Ciclagua (50%), the operation and maintenance contract for 44 small municipal sanitation and purification systems in the province of Alicante. With a duration of 4 years, and a possible one-year extension, the amount of the contract is 6,607,678.3 million euros plus VAT.
The offer presented by GS INIMA-CICLAGUA was the best valued by the EPSAR technicians, especially in the section referring to optimizations. The improvements presented by GS INIMA-CICLAGUA are focused on the use of renewable energies and the reduction of the carbon footprint. In addition, it’s important to note that a total of 352 solar panels of 465 Wp will be installed, with a total installed power of 164 kWp in the different facilities that make up the contract.
The system has a combined treatment capacity of 7,500 m3/day to purify the water of more than 20,000 inhabitants. Likewise, it has a tertiary treatment through an ultrafiltration system of the tributary, which makes it suitable for various uses.
With this new award, GS Inima consolidates its position in Spain and more specifically in the Valencian Community, in which it already manages three contracts with the Public Entity for Wastewater Sanitation of the Valencian Community (EPSAR).
