Partanna Oasis Joins Renowned Technology Accelerator Hub71 in Abu Dhabi

Partanna Oasis, a subsidiary of climate technology company Partanna Global, has joined Hub71, Abu Dhabi’s renowned global technology accelerator program. Hub 71 brings together innovators, investors and entrepreneurs to leverage technologies that drive decarbonization in supporting a net zero future.

Joining Hub 71 enables Partanna Oasis to establish itself in Abu Dhabi and scale its plans to work with the construction industry, empowering it to reduce its carbon footprint while building some of the world’s most eye-catching developments.

Partanna Oasis was selected alongside just five other climate technology companies, in a challenging selection process of over 1,228 applications. The milestone represents significant progress of Partanna’s growth plans in the UAE and globally as it seeks to change the way the world builds, by mainstreaming the adoption of sustainable building materials.

Partanna Oasis will have access to a world-class innovation platform and a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem in the heart of the UAE. Through this collaboration, Partanna Oasis will expand its reach, develop strategic partnerships, and strengthen its R&D capabilities, propelling its innovative carbon-negative IP and sustainable materials to the UAE construction market.

“Cohort 15 is abundant with pioneering startups that are positioned to contribute to Abu Dhabi’s innovation ecosystem. By providing the startups with access to investment opportunities and market reach, Hub71 is supporting the founders’ journey in Abu Dhabi and accelerating their transformative impact globally.” Ahmad Ali Alwan, CEO of Hub71

Partanna’s inclusion in Hub71 comes at a time when the construction industry is increasingly under pressure to reduce its carbon footprint. The industry alone is responsible for 28% of all global emissions. Partanna has pioneered a sustainable alternative cement material that avoids the need for the energy intensive process used to manufacture Portland cement (which alone is responsible for 9% of global emissions). Partanna utilizes brine, natural pozzolans, upscaled big industry waste and other proprietary ingredients with the power of chemistry to create its sustainable binder. All materials used are abundantly available around the world.

Due to the materials and chemistry utilized by Partanna, concrete made with its binder removes CO2 from the atmosphere, demonstrating the capability of climate technology for the built environment. In the coming months, at Hub 71, Partanna Oasis will collaborate with innovators, entrepreneurs and investors to accelerate plans for bringing its innovative technology to market in Abu Dhabi.

“We’re honored to be selected as part of Hub71’s Cohort15. This program supports Partanna’s mission to change the way the world builds, by mainstreaming the adoption of sustainable building materials through climate technology. We’re excited to meet with fellow entrepreneurs and integrate ourselves into the Abu Dhabi ecosystem. We look forward to creating real impact locally and globally from this dynamic and exciting market.” Rick Fox, CEO & CO-Founder of Partanna

Located in Abu Dhabi’s thriving tech and innovation district, Hub71 has become a magnet for forward-thinking startups and enterprises from around the world. Its ecosystem connects innovators with a network of investors, corporate partners, and government entities, creating an environment where disruptive technologies can flourish.

Abu Dhabi has positioned itself as a leader in sustainability and innovation, with initiatives such as the UAE Net Zero by 2050 strategic initiative. As part of Hub71, Partanna Oasis will collaborate with key stakeholders in the region to contribute to these ambitious environmental goals, demonstrating leadership in reducing carbon emissions and promoting greener construction practices.
