Senior Director Communications, Energy Recovery Inc.
Kelley Vendeland is the Senior Director of Communications with Energy Recovery, which designs and manufactures solutions that reduce waste, improve operational efficiency, and lower the production costs of clean water and oil & gas. Kelley joined Energy Recovery in 2019, where she is responsible for the company’s communications strategy to customers, employees, and investors.
Prior to Energy Recovery, Kelley was Marketing & Communications Director for Recurrent Energy, a leading solar project developer. As a member of the firm’s executive team, she oversaw reputation and marketing for the organization, including community and stakeholder engagement, media relations, integrated marketing, and communications strategy. In her five years with Recurrent Energy, Kelley oversaw announcement strategy for the second largest solar project portfolio in the United States and executed communications for Recurrent Energy’s acquisition by Canadian Solar, one of the world’s largest solar companies. Earlier in her career, she worked with technology public affairs consultancy 463 Communications (now called Vrge Strategies), where she executed strategic campaigns and programs for technology clients including Facebook.
Kelley holds a bachelor’s degree from Tufts University and served for two years as a Leadership Committee Member of the Young Professionals in Energy – San Francisco Bay Area Chapter.
