(Tampa, Fla.) – Seven Seas Water Group, a multi-national provider of Water-as-a-Service® (“WaaS”) solutions, today announced appointments to its executive team that completes its management transition to support the execution of its strategic growth plan and provide excellence in water and wastewater treatment solutions for its customers.
“I am pleased to appoint the new members of our senior leadership team as we embark into this new chapter of growth for the Seven Seas Water Group,” said Henry J. Charrabé, the Chief Executive Officer who was appointed in September 2021.
The new senior management team members for Seven Seas Water Group consist of:
Oliver Wiese as Chief Commercial Officer. In his over 20 years of experience in water and wastewater, among other roles, Mr. Wiese was formerly a Senior Vice President and Global Executive at Suez, Vice President at Evoqua, and Vice President Corporate Development at Siemens Water Technologies.
Erik Arfalk as SVP of Business Development and Product Marketing. Arfalk formerly served as Chief Marketing Officer of Fluence Corporation and has over 20 years of experience in strategy, global marketing and product management serving various industrial companies including General Electric, Amgen, and Atlas Copco.
Heather Cheek as VP of Human Resources. Cheek has over 20 years of experience in human resources and brings to the Seven Seas Water Group a new focused approach towards organizational growth, employee engagement and talent development.
Tony Ellstrom as General Manager of AUC. Ellstrom contributes over 20 years of experience in design, build, construction, and project management and has served in various executive capacities leading operations and business development for various industries including within the water and wastewater sectors.
Since being divested from AquaVenture Holdings Limited in 2020, Seven Seas Water Group expanded its portfolio with the addition of a 20 million gallons per day water treatment plant in Panama, serving a population of approximately 420,000 residents. Additionally, under its AUC Group brand, it has expanded its wastewater treatment plant portfolio by over 30% from 119 to 155 wastewater treatment plants under lease in the United States with property developers, municipal customers, and utility districts.
More recently, following Mr. Charrabé’s appointment as Chief Executive Officer last September, Seven Seas Water Group announced the successful execution of a contract for the construction of the first public-private-partnership brackish water desalination plant in Texas.
