SUEZ announces the appointment of Kathleen Wantz-O’Rourke as Group Chief Financial Officer and member of the Executive Committee
  • Kathleen Wantz-O’Rourke will join SUEZ effective March 15th, as Executive Vice President, Group Chief Financial Officer.

After various CFO positions for SIEMENS in Australia, Germany, France and Belgium, from 1984 onwards, Kathleen Wantz-O’Rourke joined ENGIE in 2012 as Group Action Plan and Performance Director until 2016 when she joined the Executive Committee of AKKA Technologies as Executive Vice President Operations & Performance. A member of Keolis’ Executive Committee between April 2018 and May 2021, she headed the Group’s Finance and Legal Department. She was also a Director and Chair of the audit committee at NEXANS between 2015 and 2022.

Since June 2021, Kathleen Wantz-O’Rourke has been with the automotive supplier Plastic Omnium as Chief Financial Officer.

Kathleen Wantz-O’Rourke, 58 years of age, possesses both French and Australian citizenship. She is a graduate of the University Paris Dauphine, the Institut de Haute Finance in Paris and Duke University’s advanced management program. She also holds an Industry Bachelor certificate from the Industry Chamber of Commerce of Nuremberg.

Additionally, Kathleen is the President of the Turgot Prize – best book on Financial Economics awarded every year in France. She is also a Director of the Trust Management Institute and a member of the Circle of Women Leaders in Paris.
