Toray Membrane (Foshan) Head Receives Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area Outstanding Young Entrepreneur Award

Toray Industries, Inc., announced today that Akihiko Ishihara has become the first Japanese recipient of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area Outstanding Young Entrepreneur Award. He was selected from among 1,300 candidates for this prestigious honor. Mr. Ishihara serves as the head of Toray Membrane (Foshan) Co., Ltd. and Toray Industries (China) Co., Ltd.

Mr. Ishihara was honored for his contributions to the community, the broad vision and strategic insights of Toray Membrane (Foshan), its robust corporate culture, and his significant impact on the economic development of the Greater Bay Area (see note below) and China.

Toray provides reverse osmosis membranes and other advanced membrane technologies in keeping with its commitment to delivering new value and contributing to social progress. It aims to reinforce its technical services to resolve water issues in regions where demand should rise with industrial and population growth.
