Welcome to the IDRA Desalination Academy, a global program for higher learning and professional development in all aspects of desalination, water reuse, and the advanced water treatment industry.

The mission of the IDRA Desalination Academy Program is to provide the highest level of training, education and instruction to individuals, utilities, companies, institutions, universities and other organizations interested in desalination and the advanced water treatment industry, in all its aspects. Our vision is that the IDRA Desalination Academy will be the world’s foremost source for professional training and continuing education program on desalination, water reuse, and the advanced water treatment industry.

Our faculty of professional instructors represents some of the world’s leading authorities in the advanced water treatment industry, from technology to economics of desalination, plant operations and more. Each of our instructors brings not only deep technical expertise but also extensive experience in the field, so that participants in Academy courses can benefit from their real-world knowledge.

The IDRA Desalination Academy curriculum is designed to be comprehensive. As a result, we do not teach a single subject, but rather an aggregation of subjects that span all the advanced water treatment industry disciplines.

The IDRA Desalination Academy is aimed at mid to senior level management in utilities, suppliers, consultants, plant operation, and contractors. In addition, the Academy offers an introductory desalination course for individuals with 0-1 years of industry experience as a way to broaden knowledge and understanding of desalination and the advanced water treatment industry.
