• WEG solutions will help in providing potable water supply for the Province of Córdoba

WEG, through the support of its commercial branch in Argentina, participated as a supplier of automation panels and electric motors for the potable water supply project for the Sierras Chicas Norte, which is completed, and for Altos de Chipión, which is in the final stage, in the Province of Córdoba.

The company’s supplied products include panels with variable speed drives lines CFW11 and CFW500 and soft starters line SSW07. The panels were manufactured with PLC and a communication network provided and programmed by the company GEDING Automatismos y Control.

WEG W22 motors were also supplied and coupled with pumps, completing the comprehensive solution for the aqueduct system.

The products were installed for the management and control of potable water extraction wells. The pumping and distribution of potable water will supply over 50,000 inhabitants in the Sierras Chicas Norte aqueduct and 20,000 inhabitants in the La Para – Altos de Chipión aqueduct.
